Tower Hill is extremely proud to boast two Inclusive teams - Under 16 and Adult.
Their journey began in April 2014 with sessions on a Saturday morning. They have since grown from 2 people attending the first session to over 15 players across the two teams.
The Under 16 team joined the Bobi League in 2016 and had a really good first season in the league and also got through to the semi finals of the Under 16 inclusive peoples cup. The Adult Team joined the Bobi league in 2017.
Sadly, as our players have got older, our Under 16 team has lost players who have moved up to the adult league. This means there is not enough players currently for an Under 16 team to enter the league.
Team ethos is to just come and enjoy football in a friendly fun environment. We are a very mixed ability bunch of young youths and adults who all train together. We welcome any new player with open arms.
We train on Monday evenings and our Bobi League tournaments are on Sundays but are only once every month.
The teams comprise of two managers:
Tracy Mathias - Level 1, Coaching disabled footballers qualified.
Tracy got back into football in 2012 after a long absence having played for Tower Hill Ladies and Summertown. Tracy got into coaching in 2012 and coached a girls team. Tracy then setup the Inclusive Team in 2014 with a view to giving all players the chance to play football in a safe friendly environment.
Tracy's son has Aspergers and noticed a lack of teams that would offer places to players with additional needs and decided to setup our very own Tower Hill teams.
Michael Hill - Level 1 coach.
We will try our level best to respond in a timely manner. However, the club are run entirely by volunteers which means it may take a little longer to get back to you.
