Tower Hill is extremely proud of our popular and growing Inclusive Football Team.
The team welcomes players from around 10 years old up to mid-twenties, all of whom have a range
of learning and / or physical disabilities. The ethos of the team is to have fun, build self confidence
and social skills, and of course to develop footballing talent!
From a small band of players in April 2014, the team has grown into a happy, vibrant group of
around 15 team members today. The Inclusive Team trains every Monday in term time at Witney
ATP from 6-7pm, and there is warm welcome for potential new players who would like to come
along and see how the team works.
The Inclusive team plays in the Berkshire, Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire Inclusive (BOBI) league.
The BOBI league has tournaments six times per year, and they are a joyous celebration of how much
all our team members can achieve. While we have an over 16’s team at present, our U16 players are
always welcomed to join other U16’s teams at each tournament, so everyone has the chance to play
several matches throughout the event.
Our coach, Michael Hill, has a wealth of career experience working with disabled young people, and
has a really magical effect on even the most nervous or reticent player. Michael is assisted in each
session by 2-3 assistant coaches so our support ratio is superb.
Please use the JOIN US section if you would like to join the Inclusive Team.
